ROGERS, CT – June 22, 2009 – Rogers Corporation has expanded their product line of E/bak™ Cushions with the commercial release of E/bak SF .120” in a 44-inch width for use on smaller machines. By offering both choices in width, the printer will be able to reduce excess waste and have a more economical use of the foam.
An economically priced cushion mounting solution for corrugated post-print applications, E/bak materials are used for standard quality graphics that could benefit from a cushion. This value performance corrugated cushion can help you increase your productivity, reduce production costs and grow your business.
E/bak materials have been designed for use on general purpose corrugated applications of line and solid work, as well as combination screens. Easy to handle and resilient, E/bak materials provide quality print results with high solid ink density and lower dot gain. Added benefits also include reduced fluting and board crush at increased line speeds. E/bak cushions will lower operating costs by reducing press adjustments and plate wear, diminishing gear banding and press bounce while decreasing waste helping the environment and your bottom line.
Based on Rogers’ proven open-cell urethane foam technology, E/bak cushions build thickness while also providing cushioning and absorbing vibration. E/bak SF (supported firm in a green color) material is designed on .010 mil PET film carrier and is cast to thickness, not buffed. Its polyester support layer ensures dimensional stability and acts as a mounting base. It is available in five standard thicknesses (.040”, .060”, .080”, .100 and .120”) in a 60-inch width, and now also a .120" in a 44-inch width. Flexible thickness, widths or other special requirements are available. Please contact a distributor for further information.
With over 25 year’s experience, Rogers is committed to helping their customers increase productivity, reduce costs and grow their business all over the globe.
